Omar Abdullah finally appeared in Shopian yesterday, three months after the brutal double rape and murder of two innocent women, Asiya and Neelofer. In his speech he talked about the sternest punishment he wished for the perpetrators of the crime, Death penalty, but can anyone ask him to explain how they are going to nab the culprits. Three months have passed, vital evidence has been destroyed that too by the investigating police officers themselves, though they are behind bars now, a report under the supervision of a judge has been published; an award of twenty lakh rupees has been announced. And yet there is no sign of the person/persons responsible for the crime.
Can somebody tell him to first nab the criminals and then talk about the punishment?
