US mountaineers missing in Pakistan

Two American climbers have disappeared while endeavoring to summit a mountain in northern Pakistan, authorities said Thursday, as terrible climate hampered salvage operations.

Kyle Dempster and Scott Adamson started their climb of Ogre-II, a 7,285-meter (23,900-foot) top off the Choktoi Glacier in the Gilgit-Baltistan locale of Pakistan on Sunday August 21, as indicated by a site set up to raise stores for their salvage.
