Hunza is a spectacular and beautiful valley and town in Gilgit-Baltisan region of Pakistan. At a distance of 101 km from the Gilgit city Hunza is one of the dream lands of Pakistan. Surrounded by the high altitude peaks covered by the snow this valley is famous for its breathtaking natural beauty. The landscape is of so picturesque that it seems to be a part of heaven.
The peaks which surrounds the valley is: Ultar Sar, Rakaposhi, Bojahagur Duanasir II, Ghenta Peak, Hunza Peak, Passu Peak, Diran Peak and Bublimotin (Ladyfinger Peak), all 6,000 metres (19,685 ft) or higher.
The valley is also famous for its literacy rate, as according to some findings the literacy rate of the region is above 95%.
